Echoes in the Dark
I have never experienced this sort of fear. One day, I was having a tranquil shower, absent from the hustle and flurry. My family was out shopping for my birthday, leaving just me and the pooch. Recently, my favorite cousin, Lilly, had passed away. This was devastating, and I was unwinding in the shower when the light turned off. I thought it was just the control, but then the cold tap started turning on its own. My heart halted. I shouted so loudly and ran out of the bathroom.
Later, I came back into the room to check, and the light was on again. I didn't know what was going on, but I knew I was frightened. A couple of hours later, my family returned, and I tried to tell them what happened, but they didn't believe me. My family has never accepted these things, but I do now.
The following day, I was giving my puppy a shower when the light gave out and exploded in a puff of smoke. The pooch began hopping around as if Lilly was commanding him to do tricks. He only does tricks when someone asks him to, never for fun.
You may think these are just coincidences, but Lilly passed away when the light in her bathroom fell on her while she was home alone, just like me. Sometimes, when I'm in the bathroom, the lights start flashing, and I feel a shudder down my spine. Sometimes, I just go into the bathroom to feel her presence.
